Jump, Run, Observe! Building a Game to Explore App Observability on Azure
What if you could learn observability and resiliency by… playing a game? In this fun and technical session, we’ll build a lightweight platformer game live, where players race to the finish line across randomly generated levels. But this isn’t just about jumps and timers — it’s a showcase of real-world observability in action. We’ll walk through how to integrate Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Dashboards into the game to track user behavior, system health, performance metrics, and custom events. From frontend telemetry to backend APIs and leaderboard tracking, you'll see how even the simplest app can be made resilient and transparent using Azure’s observability toolkit.
